Maggie Brother, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a guide who has walked these trails before. Her process includes three types of appointments:

A Trailhead appointment is where we map out your unique path to mental well-being. This comprehensive initial evaluation is a deep dive into your history, current concerns, and goals. Just like a hiker preparing for a long trek, we assess where you are, what you need, and the best route forward.

Compass Check appointments ensure you’re still headed in the right direction. These brief follow-up visits provide space to evaluate how your treatment is working, make adjustments if needed, and ensure you have the tools to keep moving forward.

Summit Ascent is our therapy offering, providing a space to explore emotions, patterns, and the beliefs that shape your experience. This is where real healing happens. Deep inner work is like ascending a mountain—challenging, transformative, and life-changing.
Each appointment is available at a cash rate which can be reimbursed by insurance depending on your plan.

Trailhead
Initial Evaluation | 60 Min
Locations: Chappaqua, NY, Beacon, NY, Virtual
What to expect:

A 60-minute one-on-one session with a provider

A full exploration of your mental health history, lifestyle, and challenges

Discussion of evidence-based treatment options, including therapy, medication, and holistic approaches

A personalized plan to guide you on your journey
This is where you lace up your boots and set your course—you don’t have to walk the path alone.

Compass Check
Medication Management | 20 Min
Locations: Virtual Reccommended
What to expect:

A 15-30 minute check-in with a provider

Medication assessment, including efficacy, side effects, and necessary adjustments

Discussion of additional strategies to enhance mental wellness

A collaborative approach—your voice and experience matter
Like a hiker pausing to check their compass, these visits are about making sure you’re aligned with your goals and feeling your best.

Summit Ascent
Therapy | 50 Min
Locations: Chappaqua, NY, Beacon, NY, Virtual
What to expect:

Weekly or biweekly 50-minute therapy sessions

A collaborative approach to understanding and reshaping thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

Evidence-based practices, including CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care

A supportive and empowering space to navigate challenges
